Office of Deputy CEO for Issuing Construction Licenses

 

Issuance of permits for construction and modifying the map and continuation of operations (renewal of licenses) and added construction and repairs as well as refurbishment of workshops and carrying out fencing and digging operations and demolition and renovation and alteration of buildings, announcement of construction regulations, review and approval of architectural plans, control of structural, electrical and mechanical plans are among the tasks carried out by the Office of Deputy CEO for Issuing Construction Licenses

 

Tasks and Duties


- Issuing construction permits including permits for construction, added construction, demolition and renovation, repairs and building alternation
- Notifying the investors of the local construction regulations based on the Comprehensive Development Plan and the decrees made at the council
- Controlling and cross-checking projects and plans submitted to investors in accordance with construction regulations
- Controlling construction plans and cross-checking construction maps in accordance with current bylaws and regulations outlined by the Office of National Building Control and Regulations
- Coordinating and attending meetings related to drafting regulations at Office of Deputy CEO for Development at Kish Free Zone Organization
- Controlling and allocating engineers' recruitment capacity and issuing relevant commitment forms
- Collecting and controlling reports filed by engineers and notifying the control unit of reported violations
- Reviewing and preparing reports related to engineering affairs and providing proposals aimed at improving the quality of engineering services
- Settling disputes regarding engineering services between investors and engineers

- Holding training courses for designer and supervisor engineers

- Issuing warnings for engineers (If need be) and notifying the engineers' organization in the related province which has issued the engineering permit
- Obtaining the results of welding and cement tests in the buildings which are under construction in the island and cross-checking them with the current regulations and bylaws
