The most important activities of Department of Urban Services
According to its job description, the Department of Urban Services is tasked with maintaining the quality and quantity of urban services to islanders and tourists visiting Kish. Accordingly, officials at the Department of Urban Services have constant supervision over the activities related to the improvement of the quality of the urban landscape, reinforcing the power grid and street lighting, managing and persevering the green spaces as well as recycling and waste management.
Waste disposal
Carrying out urban services aimed at cleaning up and promoting hygiene level in public passages, including cleaning and washing the roads, washing furniture and urban elements, collecting garbage and waste as well as recycling household waste and combatting urban pests (rodents and insects), issuing drilling permits and supervising related affairs, management of landfill site and its related matters
